Dr. Andrea Brault serves as President and CEO, providing strategic leadership across all aspects of our revenue cycle and practice management services. As a recognized thought leader in the business of healthcare, she advises clients on evolving payer trends, regulatory changes, and healthcare policy ­– while also educating lawmakers on the real-world implications of legislative decisions.

Dr. Brault is the immediate past-Chair of the Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) and serves in leadership roles within the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). She currently chairs the ACEP Coding and Nomenclature Committee (Group 1) and is an active member of the ACEP Reimbursement Committee.

She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University and completed her residency at UC Irvine. Then, after more than 20 years as an emergency physician, she transitioned to the business side of medicine and earned a master’s degree in medical management from USC.

Mitchell Thompson serves as Vice President of Pre-Bill RCM Operations and Information Technology, overseeing the front-end functions of Brault’s revenue cycle workflow as well as the company’s IT infrastructure. He leads key operational areas including health information exchange, insurance verification, reimbursement coding, and auditing.

In addition to his operational leadership, Mitch manages the technical systems that power Brault’s business tools and data infrastructure, playing a critical role in integrating technology solutions with revenue cycle strategy.

Prior to joining Brault, Mitch served eight years in the US Navy, where he was responsible for managing secure computer networks and encrypted communication systems — experience that continues to inform his disciplined, security-conscious approach.

Debbie DeMarco serves as Vice President of Post-Bill RCM Operations, leading Brault’s patient services, accounts receivable, and banking and payment posting functions. In this role, she supports clients in maintaining consistent cash flow while promoting clarity, compassion, and consistency in the patient billing experience

With more than 20 years of experience in revenue cycle and practice management, Debbie has led strategic initiatives across a range of medical specialties, including emergency medicine and urgent care. Her leadership is grounded in operational excellence, with a focus on results-driven performance and patient-centered service.

Debbie is also a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), a distinction awarded by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Steve Kelley is Chief Financial Officer at Brault, where he leads all finance and accounting functions. He also oversees client-facing financial services, including bookkeeping, reporting, and budget planning, ensuring both internal and client operations are financially sound and strategically aligned.

Steve has more than 30 years of experience in financial management, forecasting, and strategic planning for both public Fortune 500 companies and privately held businesses. His expertise spans a range of industries, offering a broad and informed perspective to financial strategy.

He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Sonia Brown serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Brault, where she leads all legal and regulatory functions for the organization. She ensures enterprise-wide compliance across the revenue cycle and provides strategic legal guidance on matters ranging from operational risk to industry regulation.

In addition to her internal responsibilities, Sonia works closely with clients on a variety of legal and compliance-related issues — including support for payer contracting, regulatory compliance, and issues related to the No Surprises Act (NSA) and its Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process.

With more than 20 years of experience as legal counsel to hospitals, physician groups, and insurance payers, Sonia brings deep industry knowledge and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to both organizational and client-facing legal matters. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University.

Danielle Gonzalez serves as Vice President of Human Resources at Brault, where she guides the company’s approach to people and culture. Her work focuses on building an environment where teams feel supported, engaged, and aligned with the company’s mission. She partners closely with leadership to shape policies and practices that reflect Brault’s values while helping the organization adapt and grow.

In addition to her internal leadership, Danielle oversees a team of HR specialists who support clients with a wide range of HR functions — including benefits administration, provider onboarding, and day-to-day workforce management. Her team helps clients navigate the complexities of HR while ensuring compliance and consistency.

With more than 20years of experience in human resources and employee relations, Danielle brings deep expertise in organizational development, policy design, and people strategy. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University.

Patrick Satterfield serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Brault, where he leads the company’s business development efforts and often serves as the first point of contact for new clients. He works closely with prospective partners to understand their needs and uncover areas for improvement. His approach often involves revenue projections and chart studies to provide a clear picture of a practice’s financial performance.

With more than 35 years of experience in healthcare sales and client engagement, Patrick has worked with organizations of all sizes — from small practices to large healthcare systems ­— across a wide range of specialties. His career has centered on helping provider groups grow and optimize performance, with a long-standing focus on emergency revenue cycle and practice management. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama.

Madison Fox serves as Vice President of RCM Operations and Client Services, providing leadership across Brault’s revenue cycle workflows and client-focused teams. She plays a key role in driving process improvement and shaping operational strategy, leveraging next- technology to enhance our business performance. With more than 15 years of experience in operations and analytics, Madison applies a data-driven approach to help clients identify opportunities and trends that can impact their practice. As a dedicated client resource, she is committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of physician reimbursement and the business of emergency medicine. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Haverford College, where she served on the executive board of the Rufus M. Jones Institute for Leadership.
